Description :

This weekend, along with Dhanush and Sundeep Kishan’s Raayan, Raj Tarun’s Purushottamudu also came to the audience. Teaser & trailer  made everyone’s attention on the movie.

Story :

Rachit Ram (Raj Tarun) comes to Hyderabad after studying in London. Father (Murali Sharma) wants to make him the CEO of his company called Parashuramaiah Enterprises. But according to the company’s bylaws, the person who is to become the CEO must go into hiding for 100 days, live a normal life without using his reputation anywhere, and keep his personal details confidential. Vasu (Ramya Krishna) brings up the fact that no means they are not eligible to become CEO. She is greedy that if Rachit Ram violates that condition then her son (Viran Muttamshetty) will become CEO.

In this order, Rachit Ram will come out under those conditions.  if you board the train going to Vizag, you will have to get off at Kadiam unexpectedly. Then, unexpectedly, he has to fight with the elders who are oppressing the village and the farmers there. Why is that? Then why did he have to get close to Ammulu (Hasini Sudhir) who is growing flower gardens in that town? Has Rachit Ram finally become the CEO? Or? This ‘man’ is the answer to questions like?

Artist Performance :

Raj Tarun got a range role played by Mahesh Babu in ‘Srimanthudu’. He did justice to it with his settled performance. But suddenly speaking in Godavari slang in some places is a minus. Sudheer impressed the heroine Hasini .  Ramya Krishna acting always  impressed. Allu Arjun’s son-in-law Viran Mutthamshetty plays her son.His role is limited to talking to gangsters on the phone from the beginning to the end. Murali Sharma impressed with his settled performance as always. Praveen’s comedy is okay. Prakash Raj guest appeariance and the dialogues spoken by that character at the end are very explosive. The rest of the cast  okay.

Techenical Ascepts :

The story chosen by Ram Bhimana is nothing new. Shades of movies like ‘Arunachalam’ ‘Srimanthudu’ ‘Bicchagadu’ ‘Pilla Zamindar’ are seen in this story. But good marks can be scored in terms of screenplay. There are scenes in this movie that the B and C center audience will enjoy.   The dialogues are also good. After a few days, they go viral on Instagram reels. Production values superb. Every frame feels rich like seen in big hero movies. Gopi Sundar’s music is also a plus point for the film. 2 songs are memorable. Another plus point is that the run time is only 2 hours.

Final Word

Overall, this ‘purushotamudu’ seems to be routine. It is much better compared to Raj Tarun movies in recent time. The chances of liking the audience of B and C Center are also high..!

Overall rating for the movie :  3/5
